The Morning Show season 3: Release date, cast, plot and trailer
The award-winning series focuses on the behind-the-scenes drama at a US magazine show.
The Morning Show is back!
The Emmy-winning series' third season landed on Apple TV+ on Wednesday 13th September with a double bill that reintroduces viewers to Jennifer Aniston's veteran TMS host Alex Levy and Reese Witherspoon's former field reporter turned co-host Bradley Jackson.
The pair are in for more behind-the-scenes drama as they continue to tackle real-life topics following on from their portrayal of the #MeToo movement and the pandemic in seasons 1 and 2. This time around they'll be tackling visit to space – yes, that's right, one of them will be leaving the atmosphere – and the likes of the storming of the Capitol on January 6th and Roe v Wade.
The cast is also expanding, with more high profile names joining the drama's third outing, including John Hamm as a billionaire with an interestingly shaped space shuttle.
Billy Crudup's Cory Ellison said in the season 3 trailer: "It's time to smash and shatter. Let's burn it all down." Aniston also told People that everybody is "getting in trouble. Everybody has a secret. And everyone's just walking the line. It's a lot more sensual this year."
Judging by the first two episodes, it looks like they weren't lying.
